The FRASAC Volunteer Project Needs You!

Fife Rape and Sexual Assault Centre is an independent voluntary organisation that offers a range of free and confidential time limited support to ALL GENDERS 12+, who have been affected by rape. sexual assault and commercial sexual exploitation.

Within these services FRASAC provide a Woman only space (someone born biologically female) if and when requested and in line with the Equality Act 2010: A Woman’s right to single-sex spaces and services.

Since starting to provide front line services in 2003 our funding has never met the demands on our services, and we have always had to manage a waiting list.

We are hugely grateful for the contribution that our Volunteers make in assisting us in addressing the needs of our service users by providing counselling and support. Last year our Volunteers provided 737 hours of support.

FRASAC know it is important to offer Volunteer opportunities, this assists with expanding the skills and knowledge of the impact of sexual violence, and many of our volunteers have gone into employment from our volunteer programme.

Although our amazing volunteers, like Georgia profiled below, provide their time for free there are still costs attached to this activity, would you be willing to help with those costs?

A donation of £500 per year would cover the approximate travel costs or supervision costs of one volunteer per year who could provide approximately 92 support sessions.

But all donations no matter the amount would be gratefully received. To make a donation online click here or to make a donation direct to FRASAC please give us a call on 01592 642336 or email info@frasac.org.uk.

Your support is hugely appreciated, thank you and please share with your friends and family if you can.
